PTC and Rockwell Automation Continue to Focus on AR in Manufacturing

Rockwell Automation will continue to resell PTC's ThingWorx IoT software, including the Digital Performance Management (DPM) manufacturing solution and Vuforia AR software, to new and existing customers in the discrete and process manufacturing verticals. Customers will continue to benefit from the resources, technology and industry expertise of PTC and Rockwell Automation, the companies noted.

Rockwell Automation, a sponsor of PTC's LiveWorx event last month, demonstrated its manufacturing solutions in the Xtropolis booth. PTC will be exhibiting at the Rockwell Automation Expo at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in November, where the company will showcase its latest manufacturing technologies and augmented reality solutions.
