Taqtile is rolling out performance and usability updates to meet the growing needs of deskless workers around the world.
These updates improve video communications and data retrieval for maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) programs in the government, healthcare, manufacturing, defense, energy, utilities, transportation, aerospace and pharmaceutical industries.

Newly optimized inventory services allow workers to access detailed diagrams, digital twins and manuals to complete tasks successfully and efficiently.
The latest update to the iPad version of the checklist
Austin Coglianese, Manufacturing Augmented Reality Trainer at Fastenal, noted how “new checklists for iPad UX make it easier than ever to access and use the software’s features.
Additionally, the end user noted that the iPad's inventory optimization allowed his team to work with a wider range of videos, schematics, and instructions simultaneously, which the trainer noted was "a major advantage of Fastenal Machinists on the shop floor."
Taqtile leverages Apple's ARKit and Swift programming language to ensure an iOS-ready, scalable immersive workplace solution.
The updated platform offers a host of updates, including new streamlined workflows that provide step-by-step instructions for optimizing program previews. This feature allows workers to view job status and view completed tasks on Apple iPads.
In addition, during the step-by-step teaching setup, staff can now use "one-touch switching" to switch to AR mode that displays AR. These spatially anchored guided visualizations are viewable through the iPad camera.
Workers can also use checklists to distribute processes and share workflows between individuals or teams.
Additionally, the inventory update includes various quality-of-life improvements, such as the ability to swipe between photos, videos, or PDF documents. The platform also introduces larger UI buttons to support common activities, including submitting photos, videos, and sign-offs.
