《地狱扫荡者VR》将于9月21日在PC VR上发布, Quest 2 和 PSVR 2。

PublisherVertigo GamesThe news was announced today, along with a new trailer, ahead of the game's release in the fall.

Originally slated for release last year, several delays pushed Hellraiser from late 2022 to Q2 2023, and now to late Q3. However, this is the game's first confirmed release date, so it feels more like a set in stone. Additionally, enthusiastic players will be able to try the game out soon.

In addition to the release date and trailer, Vertigo also announced that a demo of Hellsweeper VR will be available as part of Steam Next Fest from June 19th to 26th. Vertigo says the demo will feature "competing products": all game modes, weapons, magic and five different maps to explore!

We loved Hellsweaver's fast pace and intense combat when we tried it out at Gamescom last year. The most prominent feature is the gesture-based weapon system, which lets you transform weapons into your hands and then merge them together, illuminating creative new combinations:

If you summon an item in each hand, you can smash them together to create unique combinations with different effects. For example, smashing my fireball onto my sword gave me a flaming sword. Likewise, combining fireballs with a bow creates flaming arrows. You could even combine multiples of the same spell together - two fireballs merged into one giant ball of energy that I could shoot across the map and detonate at will.

Hellscream is coming to Quest 2, PSVR 2 and PC VR in September this year, with a Steam Next Fest demo launching on June 19th.

Hellsweeper: Delicious dark fantasy with crazy combat combos

Hellsweaver is one of the biggest VR releases set to launch before the end of 2022, and after a brief hands-on time with it, we can’t wait to play more. Developer Mixed Realms is best known for its popular action game Sairento, and now the studio is following up on it.
