Samsung's latest augmented reality game: if you lose, it will spray powder

A pop-up experience based on augmented reality technology "may not be possible," the company said.

This week, Samsung Canada launched a new location-based augmented reality (AR) called Can you beat the box?AR) game, the game has very serious consequences and is very colorful.

Developed in partnership with American home experience company CAMP, the unique immersive experience requires you to use your Galaxy Z Flip4 smartphone to hit virtual balloons before they touch the ceiling and explode. But, here's a little trick: According to Samsung, you're likely to lose the game, at which point the game will spray you with colorful powder.

Don't worry. Before entering the box, you'll be given protective clothing and goggles to protect against the inevitable explosion. You'll even receive an exclusive t-shirt and slow-motion video of your experience as a souvenir.
