Carbon Studio in the“thoughts”for Quest 2 brings a puzzling Cube puzzle
Carbon Studio, the creators of Crime-Tales, The Witcher, and Storm Tides of the Warhammer Age, has released a new narrative-driven VR game filled with logic puzzles, And described by the studio as "a bizarre story that takes place at the core of your subconscious mind." …
The game, called Thoughts, was developed exclusively for the Quest 2 and takes full advantage of the Quest 2's hand-tracking technology, allowing players to solve the game's complex cube puzzles using touch controllers or with their bare hands. Here you will test your intelligence, dexterity and reasoning skills on a series of cube puzzles.
Here's how Carbon Studio describes the mind-bending move:
Each cube has one or more starting gears on it, which start spinning from the very beginning of each level. To complete the level, you must activate the last gear. You can do this by grabbing additional gear from available parts and inserting it into place. To make things trickier, gears can only be placed on special pins - some of which depend on the state of other pins, and are usually placed on opposite sides of the cube. If you remove one pin, the other could hide and ruin your plans. But with the right sequence, this combination can change. You'll also deal with gravity pins, pins that slide on special tracks, and more to keep you on your toes.
In the game's three-episode narrative, you play as a brilliant scientist named Jack who must struggle to regain consciousness in the game's otherworldly wake-up dream. In order to return to the real world, you must delve into your subconscious, face moral dilemmas, and uncover what happened to you in the first place.
