AI-powered app MagiScan creates complex 3D objects on smartphones

An AI-powered smartphone app aims to make augmented reality development more accessible and affordable.

Startup AR-Generation developed a3DScanning apps that allow developers to capture any object with a smartphone camera and create detailed 3D models for use in almost any augmented reality application.

MagiScan: Easy 3D Modeling

The "MagiScan" app is said to use artificial intelligence to create 3D models of objects ten times faster than human designers. According to CEO Kiryl Sidarchuk, this should enable cost savings of up to 100 times.

Sidarchuk said, "This can help individuals and large businesses save time and money in the digitization process." He said augmented reality development becomes more accessible and designers have more time for fine-tuning and other important processes.

MagiScan: Nvidia Omniverse support

Omniverse is Nvidia's own approach to meta-universe for industrial applications. Kiryl Sidarchuk said, "We customized our application to export 3D models based on real-world objects directly into Omniverse, allowing users to display the models in augmented reality and integrate them into any metaverse or game."
