Some of these games are also playable on other platforms like the Quest 2 or the original PSVR, but the PSVR 2 usually comes with better visuals and other upgrades.

Without further ado, here are our top 25 best PSVR 2 games of summer 2023.

Stay tuned for future updates - we're constantly experimenting with new games and releases to add to our list.

25. The Endless City

For fans of MMO games, Everlasting is the star game on PSVR 2, which was a huge hit when it released in early 2022. Since then, it's rolled out multiple content updates and system improvements, now featuring pupil tracking for aiming and locking onto enemies, and vibration feedback for Sense controllers and headsets, in addition to a new player onboarding experience and new areas to explore .

24. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Saga – Enhanced Edition

Two years after its release on Quest 2, both parts of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Saga have been merged into this new "enhanced edition" on PSVR 2. The result is a game with no new additions, but a visual upgrade that far surpasses the Quest 2 version. Character models and environments are more detailed, with better lighting and overall more detail. It might not seem like much, but it can create a more immersive experience for Star Wars fans to enjoy.

23. The day the sky fell

If you're looking for a Left 4 Dead-like co-op experience on PSVR 2, Day of the Dead is a great option. The game was released by Vertigo Games in late 2021, and while we're happy with it, we're also looking to keep adding new content to the game. Since then, many new maps, new weapons, and new enemies have been added to the game, and a zombie mode has also been added.

All of these additions are packed into the "full version" of PSVR 2, which is a great platform to play the game on as it has some PSVR 2-specific upgrades. While Skyfall wasn't a terrific game on the Quest or the original PSVR, it's even better on the PSVR 2, boasting impressive visuals. Graphics aside, the Sense controller's physical feedback and excellent adaptive trigger use make firing a gun feel fantastic.

For some zombie-shooting co-op fun, Day of the Fall is an excellent choice on PSVR 2.

22. Unplugged

Unplugged, the hand-tracking-only game originally launched on the Quest, has a slightly different setting on the PSVR 2. Since Sony's headset doesn't support hand tracking, the version developed by Anotherway on PSVR 2 can only use controllers.

While this isn't quite as magical as the original concept, it's still an engrossing rhythm game with a collection of great rock tunes to keep you strumming along. Yes, without the hand tracking, it's more like Guitar Hero, but that's not entirely a bad thing - it's still an amazing game for those looking to rock and roll on PSVR 2.

21. No Man's Sky

In 2016, the launch of "No Man's Sky" experienced some twists and turns. Since then, however, the game has received VR support and numerous updates, turning it into a sprawling survival space simulator. The recent update also improved many of the VR mechanics, adding new interactions and immersive menus.

On PSVR 2, No Man's Sky takes the entire experience to the next generation. While it does offer some upgraded visuals compared to the original PSVR, don't expect a shocking makeover - the game isn't the most striking even on PSVR 2, all things considered, Still, if you want to explore an infinite universe in VR, No Man's Sky is perfect for you.

20. Human

You'll take control of a Shiba Inu and guide large groups of people from point A to point B in a series of engaging atmospheric puzzles. "Human" is co-produced by Enhance Games and tha Limited, with Tetsuya Mizuguchi serving as executive producer. While it's not just designed for VR - you can also play the game in 2D flat mode on a TV - but the entire game can be started and finished in PSVR 2's VR mode.

It's a really fun puzzle game based on issuing commands to guide the mindless walking crowd to a goal, with the option for an additional challenge. The game also supports creating and sharing custom levels online, but you can only play in the headset and not create custom levels. Unfortunately, the current version does not support level creation in VR mode.

19. Kraken

The hidden gem on Quest, Siren Monsters, is out now on PSVR 2 and looks better than ever. This awesome VR monster game features fun physics-based puzzles that look amazing on the new headset. Not only does it bring its all-out VR design to the PSVR 2, but smartly enabling quick conversational navigation and menu selection with focus tracking, it's a nice UX improvement.

18. Red Matter 2

The original Red Matter set a new bar for visuals on the Quest standalone system, and the sequel does the same on Quest 2. Now, Red Matter 2 takes the experience up again with PSVR 2, taking advantage of PS5 features to further enhance the game's visuals.

The PSVR 2 version features 4K remastered textures for sharper environments, supports 120fps (native instead of 120Hz projection), and uses eye-tracking focus rendering for stunning results.

17. Career Simulator

Career Simulator was one of the first games in VR and remains a bestseller on the original PSVR. The game is an excellent first-principles VR game that can be easily enjoyed by novice or experienced players in a VR device.

With a well-written, humorous story and quirky game mechanics, the game is well-acted and looks sharp on PSVR 2. It's been able to stay on the original PSVR charts for a long time, and even after many new releases and exclusives, the latest PSVR 2 release is still a solid pick.

16. C-Smash VRS

The VR reboot of the Black Hole game combines classic Squash and Arkanoid with a first-person perspective. The concept is simple—hit a ball against colorful mats spread out across a space station—but packed with arcade-like charm.

The game has a single-player "Journey" mode where you play two difficulty options in a quick campaign orbiting five planets. If online multiplayer is your thing, there are four more modes, including Head-to-Head (who can hit the most panels), Firewall (mark and hold areas to accumulate points), Bodyshot (straight through narrow arenas) Hit the opponent) and Quickshot (blocks that grow, giving more points when they are smaller).

While the game's gameplay isn't very in-depth, C-Smash VRS finds strength in its simplicity and achieves a great look with its fluid expressiveness.

15. Another Fisherman's Tale

Another Fisherman's Tale is the second story in this puzzle series from Innerspace VR, following the brain-challenging original released in 2019.

Players will play the role of fisherman Bob again, this time he will start from the lighthouse adventure and enter a new field-both in terms of scenery and gameplay. New mechanics allow you to detach Bob's body parts from your own and manipulate them independently in the environment to solve puzzles and reach new areas.

No previous experience with the original is necessary, and while the sequel isn't always as groundbreaking as its predecessor, it offers a wider scope with its own original twist in an entertaining story that's enjoyable to watch. Several hours passed.

14. Little Green Hero

Green Heroes is one of the best indie VR games of 2022, so much so that we named it VR Game of the Year. On PSVR 2, the game remains engaging and inventive, letting you play as a non-baseball-playing character in a variety of scenarios.

It's a deceptively complex game to show family and friends who might be interested in VR. With spectator mode on TV, the PSVR 2 is perfect for playing Heroes of the Green with friends, passing the headset on to everyone.

13. Enchanted Meadows: Book I and Book II

Yes, technically these are two different games. We're cheating a little here, but to be fair, the two games that deliver a larger story are similar in gameplay. Enchanted Meadows (now known as Enchanted Meadows: The Book I) was released on the original PSVR and has since launched on many VR platforms and headsets.

The sequel, Enchanted Meadows: The Book II, was released last year, expanding on the original's platformer concept and continuing the first game's cues. The two combine to form a fantastic VR platformer experience, complete with PSVR 2-specific upgrades like subtle eye-tracking and improved visuals. Both Enchanted Meadows: The Book I and Enchanted Meadows: The Book II are playable on PSVR 2 and can be purchased together or separately.

12. Beat Sword

Need an introduction? "Beat Sword" is a milestone that opened the first year of VR rhythm games. Since its first release in 2018, almost every VR platform has been unable to bypass it.

While PSVR 2 didn't initially have Beat Swordsman, the game recently launched for Sony's new headset, allowing you to experience a "more realistic" experience with the Sense controller's upgraded visuals and excellent haptic support. shooting experience". The PSVR 2 version has cross-purchase support with the original PSVR version, which means that existing players on PSVR can use the PSVR 2 version for free and keep all DLC purchases.

11. Pavlov

Pavlov has long been a favorite among PC VR players, and is now also playable on PSVR 2.

The game is a VR first-person shooter game based on "Counter-Strike". This means that while it does have a limited offline single-player mode, the best experience is played online through the various team-based FPS game modes. Pavlov is a precision based shooter that balances realism with engaging game mechanics. It's fantastic to use, and playing online with friends will be your best bet for constant entertainment - there's very little game progress and no really big quests to complete.

Unlike Pavlov Shack, which launched on Quest, which offered a "lite" version of the game to standalone devices, Pavlov brings the full PC VR experience to PSVR 2, and supports cross-play with PC players. The only thing missing is mod support on PC VR, meaning you'll only be able to play content for your current game mode.

10. Dark Painting: Journey to Hell VR

This PSVR 2 exclusive from Supermassive Games puts you in a horror-themed roller coaster shoot-em-up gameplay. You'll play through several gruesome scenarios, with plenty of villains and scares to keep you on your toes. It has fun arcade shooter mechanics, similar to House of the Dead, and some fantastic horror theme park scenes that feel like they stepped out of a darker version of Disneyland.

While it's not the most impressive game on this list, nor the longest campaign, it's still an addictive horror shooter with great enemy design and some great scenarios. It's important to note that some users have reported graphical issues and "blurring" upon launch. Supermassive acknowledged the issues and said a patch will be released in mid-July.

9. Kayak VR: Mirage

Kayak VR: Mirage is a quiet highlight in the PSVR 2 lineup, offering stunning visuals and a relaxing experience across four locations: Papagayo, Antartica, Bjørnøya and Australia. While it may not have a full campaign or a wide selection of game modes, Kayak VR: Mirage is one of the most relaxing VR experiences on the platform, and a joy to watch from every angle.

8. Walkabout Mini Golf

If you want proof that miniature golf is great in VR, look no further than Minigolf. The developers at Mighty Coconut have created a game that accurately recreates the miniature golf experience and transcends the physical limitations of real life. It boasts new courses updated every two months as well as extensive multiplayer support, including cross-play support and guest passes for DLC courses.

7. Synapse

This PSVR 2 exclusive from veteran VR studio nDreams will make you feel like a Jedi with a gun, thanks to a creative use of the headset's eye-tracking technology. The highlight of this intensive shooter is the visuals and the highly rewarding combat. You can visually select items in the environment by just looking at them, then using the motion controllers to launch them at enemies.

The gameplay could use a little more variety, but the game is visually stunning, and the eye-tracking tech works very satisfyingly.

6. Gunslinger

gun masteris one of the most influential and constantly updated games in VR. Fortunately, it's also prominently featured on the PSVR 2, with an eye-catching look and takes advantage of PSVR 2-unique features like the adaptive triggers in the Sense controller to give you a "more realistic shooting experience." Additionally, PSVR 2's headset haptics enhance immersion, allowing you to actually feel every hit and making those moments even more powerful.

For those who don't know, Gunslinger is a beautiful intersection of rhythm games, super-hot action, and Matrix-style cinematic effects. You will progress through the moving scene to the rhythm, and enemies appear to the beat of the music - your task is not only to shoot enemies when they are approaching, but also to the beat of the music.

It's a fantastic concept, and developer Cloudhead Games has continued to expand the game with numerous free updates and expansions, making it a great choice for PSVR 2 players.

5. In front of your eyes

Before Your Eyes is a tragic yet beautiful narrative experience, and the VR version is only available on PSVR 2. It's a unique 90-minute story featuring eyeballs used in a completely different way than other eye-tracking technologies
