**Pimax Crystal Display and Features**

Pimax claims the headset has "the highest pixel count of any consumer VR headset," offering 35 pixels per degree of viewing angle. Using QLED and MiniLED panels, the viewing range is 5760 (horizontal) x2880 (vertical), providing a wider color gamut and purer black.

According to the company, the device's local dimming feature dims dark areas while keeping other areas bright and colorful. At the heart of Crystal are the headset’s spherical glass lenses, which Pimax uses to achieve high-quality images. These lenses are also interchangeable with another set of interchangeable lenses for the device.

Based on the company's 12k QLED headset platform, Crystal can be used as a connected PC VR device or a standalone VR headset, thanks to the device's XR2 processor and Pimax's custom PC VR engine dual-processor chip. Wireless connectivity is available in both modes, using wifi streaming or the device's optional 60G wireless module.

As far as eye tracking goes, Pimax says Crystal can detect a user's eyes 120 times per second. This also enables bump rendering and automatic adjustment of interpupillary distance. The headset also comes with four external depth cameras, so no base station is needed for location tracking.

In terms of content, Pimax says Crystal is compatible with all PCVR games. Through the company's "Pimax Play" platform, users can purchase indie games optimized for Pimax headsets.
