Homeworld, a West African-inspired PC VR stealth adventure game coming this year

“Home VR,” which incorporates West African mythology into a virtual reality tomb-robbing adventure game, is scheduled to release on Steam this year.

Created by indie developer Tade “gazuntype” Ajiboye, Home VR bills itself as combining “the mysteries of West African myths and legends with the unique challenge of tomb raiding.” The game tells the story of a little girl named Efe who discovers that monsters have invaded her boarding school, and you play the role of helping her escape. Gazuntype calls it the "first African-inspired virtual reality game". You can watch the gameplay trailer below:

The description states: "Use wit, cunning, and sometimes a little juju (magic) to sneak around monsters, but beware, they're always watching and listening", however you'll find artifacts throughout the game that will give her strength.

Home VR is scheduled to launch on Steam in Q4 2023, and you can request to participatePC VR Continuous Testing.
