Major Update 1 also introduces an achievement system, adding 20 new achievements, "with more to come in the coming weeks". Additionally, a user behavior reporting system will be added, which Thirdverse said in a press release will "identify cheaters, maintain a good community, promote fair competition, and ensure a good gaming experience for all players."

Players can equip their heroes with a wealth of weapons, armor, and items in each round, and use the funds they earn to buy more equipment. The goal is to deploy "The Syphon" at a specific location on the map when attacking, or use "The Defuser" to deactivate it within 30 seconds when defending. Ultimately the winner is the team that eliminates all attackers or interferes with the deployment process. There are 14 rounds in a match, and the team that reaches 8 first (subject to change) wins when 7/7 is tied.
