Each pilot will fly a real aircraft specially designed for racing, with the help ofSTYLYAugmented Reality(AR) platform, you will be able to immerse yourself in high-speed roll, pitch and yaw.

During the digital segment, pilot flight/race data will be collected using navigation tools. Then using the STYLY app, viewers can watch a virtual rendition of each pilot flying over the streets of Shibuya.

The race itself will be broadcast live online worldwide, allowing anyone to take part.

The inaugural event will begin the first weekend in August 2023, followed by six days of competition in the fall, with pilots competing in a round-robin elimination round known as the "digital segment." The final tournament will be held in Shibuya on October 15, 2023.

How does all this work?

Pilots accumulate championship points for eleven digital sessions by flying a finely tuned aircraft through the airgates in a pre-determined race configuration. The pilot with the fastest time can earn up to 25 points.

distance race

The track for the digital segment is created by measuring the exact position and spacing where each pilot flies. All flight details are measured using the latest sensing technology, and flight data is collected and analyzed by race headquarters. This data is then used in races and to provide fans with a five-dimensional augmented reality racing experience.
