Could this be the most violent real-time fighting game ever?
Monologic Games, maker of the vibrant VR platformer Ven VR Adventure, this month announced its latest game coming to the headset, VRSO: Bare Fist Fighting.
The first VR sports sim planned by the Virtual Reality Sports Organization (VRSO), VRSO: Bare Knuckle Fighting requires you to use your bare hands to defeat opponents in a series of dirty alleyways, all in Photogrammetry captures it in stunning detail.
According to the official release, the animation was captured using motion capture technology in cooperation with professional boxers. Includes a variety of attack and defense moves, from attacking and defending to dodging, turning, disappearing, and even distracting.
VRSO: Bare Knuckle Fighting is coming to VR headsets later this year, offering two game modes:
- Single player mode – Compete against 16 AI opponents in bloody tournament-style matches. Each opponent has a unique fighting style and skills to overcome. The game also features an original backstory to keep you in the loop, and a training mode where you can tweak your opponent's speed, reflexes and stamina for the ultimate training.
- Multiplayer Mode – Play against real players online to gain experience and earn currency that you can spend on unique decorations to stand out from the crowd. Players compete against other players based on rankings, promising a fair and balanced multiplayer experience.
