According to developer Smilegate Entertainment, you'll have a vast arsenal of weapons (39 different weapons, to be exact) as you battle 17 unique enemies. This includes everything from pistols, rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles, grenades, and more.

The game has three main game modes, including single-player and multiplayer:

  • Single player mode:Take on The Blacklist in 13 action-packed campaign missions as the leader of a West Asia squad.
  • Squad missions (2-player co-op):Complete 50 unique squad missions through online co-op, either alone or with friends.
  • Hell mode (4-player co-op):Team up with three other players and fight through waves of virtual enemies as an elite squad.

Fred White, Marketing Director of Smilegate West, said in an official press release: "Crossfire: West Asia Squad is a new VR game built from the ground up. We worked hard to make the game an immersive and intuitive experience. , allowing you to jump into action immediately."

Crossfire: West Asia Squad is scheduled to launch on PC VR and PlayStation VR2 headsets on August 29th. According to Fred White, the PS VR2 version will support the platform's new haptic feedback system, allowing players to feel every bullet and explosion through the Sense controllers and headset.
