July 26, 2019 – Behind the real-time location tracking systemAntilatencyThe company recently announced the launch of its "lightmetry" extended reality (XR) product line, its latest "Illumetry IOIO" display device is the company's first product to market. Based on Antilatency's "MotionParallax3D"principle,Illumetry IO是一款先进的MotionParallax3D显示设备,旨在提升XR体验。

According to Antilatency, its MotionParallax3D principle can create realistic volumetric objects on a flat surface, presenting a true three-dimensional experience from any angle. By constantly updating the projection according to the user's perspective, the new Illumetry IO display device provides a stable and immersive virtual holographic illusion.

According to Antilatency, the MotionParallax3D principle makes it possible to create the illusion of volumetric objects on a flat surface, appearing three-dimensional from any angle.

To develop a product that ensures a seamless MotionParallax3D experience, several challenges needed to be addressed, including accurate real-time tracking, minimal input lag and high-quality stereo separation, the company said. Drawing on its existing expertise in the field, Antilatency leveraged its "Alt" 6DOF positioning tracker to ensure its Illumetry IO devices comply with these standards.

The Alt tracker uses a sensor fusion approach that combines inertial measurements and optical data to achieve low-latency, high-precision tracking. Illumetry IO's custom display controller ensures minimal input lag, while pixel overclocking technology eliminates afterimages in stereo images, Antilatency said.

Editor's Note: "Ghosting" refers to a visual artifact in which a fast-moving object leaves a faint trail or repeated image on the screen. "Overdrive" eliminates afterimages by applying more than the desired pixel state so that the pixel passes exactly the target value as the display backlight flickers.

To enable a truly immersive XR experience across industries, Illumetry IO is equipped with an advanced stylus. Developed from scratch by Antilatency, the Illumetry stylus is equipped with Alt tracking for precise and fast interaction with virtual content, and can be used like a 3D mouse cursor or for professional tool manipulation.
