The popular social media app is doubling down on augmented reality.

The program is open to new and existing Lens Studio members in approximately 40 countries. Eligible Lenses include virtual try-on experiences and full augmented reality (AR) scenes, according to Snap.AR）场景。
“Snapchatters love the Lenses built by our more than 300,000 AR creators, developers and teams around the world,” Joseph Darko, Snap Inc.’s head of global AR developer relations, said in an official statement. “At Snap, we’re committed to rewarding AR creators for the value they bring to the platform through our new Lens Creator Rewards Program, where they can grow their skills and grow their businesses through startups.”
Snap says its community of more than 300,000 AR creators has developed more than 3 million Lenses with ten trillion views. No doubt, this new initiative will only further encourage the development of augmented reality lenses for the popular social media app.
