Inter Solar 83 uses a procedurally generated universe for space exploration, offering "seamless" hyperspace travel with no loading screens. As for the story, Chisholm confirmed that the story will unfold through the discovery of relics like a crashed spaceship or mysterious ancient alien artifacts.
