During the questions segment of the conference call, Cook brought up the Vision Pro again. While he declined to speculate on the headset's expected revenue, he said he "uses [Vision Pro] every day," citing internal and external excitement for the headset.
Below are excerpts of the questions and answers:
Sidney Ho of Deutsche Bank:How do we think about the revenue growth related to VisionPro? Are there any catalysts driving change for this product?
Tim Cook:Expectations for the Vision Pro are very high. There was a lot of excitement internally, and everyone involved in the show, whether it was the media, analysts, or developers, was blown away. We've shipped out to the developer community now for them to start building apps, and we look forward to shipping early next year. So we're very excited about that. I use this product every day. We're not going to be forecasting revenue and so forth on today's call, but we're very excited about it.
The full conference call can be played here: connect, but don't expect too much on the Vision Pro -- the focus is mostly on revenue and the Apple ecosystem and other existing products.
The Apple Vision Pro is scheduled to launch in the US early next year.
