Today, Polyarc officially announced its upcoming competitive multiplayer game, Glassbreakers: Champions Of Moss. The game is set in the same universe as the single-player adventures Moss and Moss: Book 2, but in a different approach. Described by Polyarc as a "MOBA-like real-time battle game," it's the studio's first foray into competitive VR multiplayer. While the announcement didn't reveal more details, the August 29th showcase event will feature the first glimpses of gameplay footage, developer chats, and a new trailer.
The game was originally released in March with some promotional images, but no specific title. Studio founder and CEO Tam Armstrong explained that the change of direction is based on a larger VR audience. Armstrong further explained that this gave Polyarc the opportunity to "try out ideas for multiplayer games that fit the needs of competitive players."
