According to the developer, a pre-release candidate for Pavlov Shack on Quest is already available in the App Lab, and a full release is "imminent."
This isn't the first time we've heard that the Shack is coming to the official Quest store - it was originally planned to arrive in 2021, but has never been released on schedule. However, Vankrupt Games developer davevillz told players last May that they were preparing to submit the final beta to Oculus QA for a full release.
Now, however, nearly a year has passed and davevillz has said again, with a new release on the game's App Lab page, making full release imminent.
This undoubtedly means that progress has been made. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that Oculus has or hasn't approved the game for full release. According to Oculus' documentation, the release candidate channel is separate from the internal production channel that is submitted for Oculus review.
Hope the game hits the Quest store soon. While the Shack Beta is currently free on App Lab, the full game, which was previously confirmed for general release, will be priced at $24 on the Quest store.
