Monster Hunter now has over a million pre-registrations

Monster Hunter Now, the upcoming AR action role-playing game from Capcom and Niantic, hit a million pre-registrations in a week. The game is due out on iOS and Android next month, and Monster Hunter Now recently launched a pre-registration campaign ahead of its official launch. The game will offer bonus items based on the achievement of key milestones, with the promise of additional rewards at 2 million, 3 million and 5 million pre-registrations. Monster Hunter Now, the first AR game in Capcom's popular series, was announced in April. Now uses a similar setting to Pokemon GO, where you fight Monster Hunter's creatures with different weapons and gain resources to improve your hunting gear. While Niantic laid off 230 employees in June, a move that ended production on Marvel: World of Heroes and NBA All-Star Players, Monster Hunter Now was unaffected.
