Monologic Games is set to release VRSO: Bare Knuckle Fighting, a VR boxing simulator, on most major headsets this year.
VRSO: Bare Knuckle Fighting, developed by Monologic Games, represents a departure from the studio's previous game, Ven VR Adventure. Instead of cartoon graphics and platforming, this new game features photorealistic sports gameplay. In the game, you will face 16 opponents in aband on locations to become the champion of VRSO (Virtual Reality Sport Organization).
Monologic Games promises a physics-based simulation, motion capture animation, and an “extensive” gore system in VRSO: Bare Knuckle Fighting. The studio places significant emphasis on the training mode, where players can adjust parameters for reflexes, stamina, spe ed, and more.
In addition to the single-player campaign, VRSO: Bare Knuckle Fighting offers a ranked multiplayer mode. Monologic Games explains, “The game features an extensive system of ranks, experience, and currency, which players can use to customize and develop their character. ” However, it should be noted that character customization only applies to the fighter's appearance.
VRSO: Bare Knuckle Fighting is scheduled for release in Q3/Q4 2023 on Quest, PSVR 2, and SteamVR. Players can sign up for an upcoming beta on the official Discord server.
