This week, Resolution Games opened up applications for Racket Club's upcoming closed beta.
The closed beta will run from August 31st to September 3rd. The test will apply to Quest 2, and players can play as much as they want during the test period.
Players can find singles and doubles matches by matching opponents, or they can team up with friends who are also participating in the test. The single-player story mode (career) and training/robot mode (private mode) will be available for play throughout the beta period, while a social space called the "club" for players to face off against other players will only be available for the last two days open.
Resolution also requires all players participating in the test to sign a non-disclosure agreement before the test. Players who participated in the beta will also receive "unique rewards" as thanks.
Last year, Resolution Games released Racket Club, a new racket sport built for VR inspired by tennis, small ball, and other sports. In our June developer diary, we revealed some of the thinking behind the game and new gameplay details, such as the game's "super round" rules. You can read more here:
