The next VR project from Toast Interactive, the developers of Richie's Plank Experience, is Max Mustard.
Along with it came a colorful trailer that gave players a sense of what to expect from the game, showing off a VR platformer closer to the style of Astro Bot Rescue Mission or Moss than No More Rainbows. The trailer shows players taking action within the game's environment, manipulating elements, and helping Max Mustard traverse the world. Here is Toast’s brief description of the game:
You embark on an adventure with famous inventor Max Mustard and reunite with a family of adorable Mudblock dogs. During your journey, you face an unexpected dilemma when a friend reveals a secret about themselves.
Toast Interactive said the studio has spent three years developing Max Mustard. The game is still under development and is scheduled to be released on the VR platform early next year. Toast said that the game will contain more than 40 levels and 4 bosses, and the game time will be about 4 hours.
