Pixel Shards 1995 has been delayed on PSVR 2 for a couple weeks with a temporary release delay.
Previously scheduled for release on September 12, developer ARVORE announced the sudden delay in a press release.
"Due to unexpected delays in the quality assurance process, Pixel Shards 1995 is postponing the release date of its enhanced version for Playstation VR2 to October 3," the studio confirms, although it doesn't specifically mention the problem.
Released three years ago, Pixel Shards 1995 is the second installment in the ARVORE series, following the release of Pixel Shards 1978 in June. In Pixel Shards 1995, protagonist Dot joins a child named David in a nostalgic adventure inspired by 16/32-bit games to restore dimensional balance. On the PSVR 2, promised upgrades include headset haptics, adaptive trigger support, and 120fps performance.
