Spread: Paradise Hotel joins a growing list of PSVR 2 survival horror games launching next month ahead of Halloween.
The game released on Quest and PC VR in May and is the survival horror sequel to 2020's Spread VR. Trapped in the zombie-infested Paradise Hotel, you play as Emily, who is searching for her twin sister Ashley. A PSVR 2 version was announced in April, but a release window wasn't provided until now.
It joins a growing list of horror-themed upcoming VR games. In addition to more light-hearted yet season-appropriate games like Ghost Hunters: Rise of the Ghost Lord, Spread: Paradise Hotel faces competition from MADiSON VR, Phobia, and The Seventh Guest VR. 》 and other high-profile competitions.
We recommended Wanadev Studio's horror game Spread: Paradise Hotel on the Quest 2 in May of this year, criticizing the short-lived storyline while praising its atmosphere.
It perfectly recreates the claustrophobic feeling of being locked up in a building filled with the creatures of your worst nightmares. Slowly progressing through a dark, creaking hotel while being chased by its terrifying inhabitants makes for an incredibly terrifying and gripping experience.
Spread: Paradise Hotel will be available on PSVR 2 in October this year and is already available on Quest and PC VR.
