Fast Travel Games has announced a partnership with new development studio MoonHood to launch a "uniquely handcrafted" VR game.
MoonHood, a new studio led by former Zoink (Fe, Lost in Random) developers Olov Redmalm and Klaus Lyngeled, has teamed up with publisher Fast Travel Games to create a papercraft experience for consoles, PC and VR. A sculptor was hired to create a 3D model of the doll, which you can get an early look at in the promotional video below.
While MoonHood's project hasn't been officially announced yet, we do have some knowledge about the game. The YouTube video description says the experience will "immerse players in bizarre realms," while the press release provides a brief overview below.
In the game, players will follow a heartwarming and dark story, experience innovative game mechanics, and face terrifying monsters across a landscape that is both strange and beautiful.
"Our MoonHood team embarked on a new creative path with our studio's first game, using organic mediums and 3D scanning to transform material art into the digital realm," said MoonHood co-director Klaus Lyngeled. "With Fast Travel Games as our publishing partner, we can ensure that our dark, heavy and poetic adventure will reach a wide audience of players."
