Widow's Walk: Playing mini golf in a haunted house is the perfect VR Halloween activity

Mighty Coconut's 22nd Walkabout Mini Golf course is a spooky ghost house conceived from the imagination of the entire development team, and when it opens on October 19th, we'll be taking a 13-minute tour of Widow's Walkabout trip.

Local legend says this spooky old house on the cliff is possessed by a playful spirit and houses a mysterious mini golf course like no other. Widow's Walkabout is the mysterious manor you've always wanted to dive into...and every quirky, shadowed corner holds interesting surprises and clues to the secret story! Push your way through fascinating machinery, ghostly objects, Victorian architecture, and mischievous onlookers, and you'll enter a house of endless curiosity and supernatural holes-in-one.

Mighty Coconut appears to be on track for a successful rapid-release program on Walkabout Mini Golf's pay-addition course, after head of company Lucas Martell beefed up Walkabout's creative process. The team used Gravity Sketch in VR from concept all the way to launch, with custom music, assets and new gameplay ideas in each mini golf course. Mighty Coconut tells us that there are no scares in Widow's Walkabout, but there are some scary elements, and the studio says there are options in the menu to turn off certain elements.
