In our review, we said it's "like the wireless headset's charging case becoming an essential part of the hardware." You no longer have to worry about whether your headset is fully charged and updated, or whether your controller needs battery replacement. It removes many of the friction points of standalone VR. But what about Meta’s one-sided charging dock designed specifically for the Quest 3? In the box, you'll find the charging base itself, a 2-meter USB-C cable, and wireless charging batteries for the left and right Touch Plus controllers. The USB-C cable connects to the rear of the base. For the fastest charging of the headset and two controllers, you'll need to connect a 45W charger (like this Anker charger ). The charger that comes with the Quest 3 is only 18W, so it doesn't offer full-speed charging. If you try to use a sub-18W charger, it won't work at all.
