Paradiddle will be fully launched on Quest this year, supporting multiplayer and mixed reality enhancements.
Developed by Emre Tanirgan, Paradiddle first debuted on PC VR five years ago, with a "V1" launch on Steam and App Lab last year. While primarily focused on the VR Drummer game, this update also adds 13 new instruments, such as steel drums, bringing the total to 67. They can be arranged with other instruments such as glockenspiel and timpani through custom settings.
Paradiddle also adds 14 new songs and supports "free play" and "competition mode" multiplayer games, which can support up to 4 players at the same time. Tanirgan said that this Quest update will allow the game to be connected to MIDI devices such as electronic drum kits and pedals, while the MIDI output can be sent to a digital audio workstation similar to Ableton. Finally, Tanirgan promises enhanced mixed reality and enhanced drum kit support when using physical drums.
Paradiddle现已通过App Lab在Quest上推出,全面发布将于今年稍后推出,并在更新中为SteamVR版本的游戏增加这些新功能。Paradiddle也可在PICO 4上获得。
