DPVR announces the launch of its new E4C headset for VR arcade operators

Seamless switching:E4C also adopts a 90° flip design to achieve seamless switching between the virtual and real world. Integrated three-color indicator lights provide real-time device status.

DPVR emphasized that the E4C is specially designed for VR theme parks, and the helmet is ideal for use with other hardware, such as VR rotating chairs, shooting and flight simulators, VR motorcycles, and racing games. The company added that E4C can be seamlessly integrated into a variety of VR theme park solutions, no matter what the immersive experience is.

With its 3 degrees of freedom capability, E4C provides arcade chains with an affordable deployment option without compromising the core of the immersive arcade-based experience. The company also notes that the helmet features a durable 6-meter-long TPU cable to ensure a longer service life, thereby reducing maintenance costs for operators.

Since the E4C has an adaptable IPD range of 53-73mm and a head circumference range of 53-66cm, the helmet can also cater to a wide range of people, including users of all ages including preschoolers. Additionally, to enable playground operators to accommodate high traffic usage while maintaining hygiene standards, the E4C is equipped with a replaceable facial interface, allowing users to have a more comfortable and cleaner experience.

Additionally, the E4C is fully compatible with DPVR Assistant, simplifying the setup process and allowing users to easily access their SteamVR and other game libraries with less hassle, according to the company.
