The PSVR 2 version of Vertigo 2 has been delayed and a new release date has yet to be confirmed.
Vertigo 2 was originally scheduled to launch on PSVR 2 today, however developer Zach Tsiakalis-Brown confirmed the delay earlier this week.
He wrote on Twitter: "Sorry for the late announcement here, but the PSVR2 version of Vertigo 2 release has been delayed. I will announce the new release date as soon as possible!"
This is another frustrating blow for PSVR 2 players waiting for a wealth of gameplay content. While the headset had a decent launch lineup when it launched earlier this year, the game selection has been relatively thin since then. Vertigo 2's delay comes on the heels of another recent delay, with Phasmophobia's release on PSVR 2 now also delayed indefinitely.
Vertigo 2 is one of our favorite VR games so far this year – we gave the original PC VR game a must-play rating in our review. We were excited to see how this impressive indie game would play out on Sony's headset, so the delay is a shame.
We reached out to Tsiakalis-Brown to ask if he could provide more reasons for the delay or an expected new release date/window – we'll provide an update if we hear back.
