Taqtile updates manual maker to enhance augmented reality work instructions
2023年11月15日 – Taqtile公司,一家专门从事空间计算技术和增强现实(AR)工作指导解决方案的公司,最近宣布了其Manifest Maker iPad应用的更新。
According to the company,Manifest Maker的改进旨在简化企业将现有资源整合到数字工作说明中的流程。TaqtilesofManifest Maker平台可使用iPad创建数字逐步工作程序。
The update introduces a feature that allows users to build and access a centralized asset library. This includes corporate or operational documents such as photos, videos, PDF manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs), all of which will be available to the company within the app. Additionally, users can integrate media and files from their OneDrive account directly into their guides.
Taqtile noted that its Manifest Maker solution helps organizations and enterprises capture and share the undocumented expertise of expert employees and then share this knowledge with desktopless workers. By providing direct access to the asset library, users can leverage these materials to build powerful step-by-step work instructions more quickly and efficiently.
The Manifest Maker app also provides a way to capture video footage on your iPad and then convert it into an instructional guide. The app's tools can create custom work instructions that include videos, annotated photos, automatically transcribed text and scans of existing manuals. The result, the company says, is the creation of step-by-step guides to digital that are more natural, easier to understand, and more applicable to desktop workers.
John Tomizuka, co-founder and CTO of Taqtile said: “Adding media library access in Maker is a feature that many users have requested to manage the increase in the number of videos they use to record their processes. We will continue to improve Manifest Maker , making it easier and more beautiful to help organizations share critical knowledge with their desktopless workforce."
Taqtile adds that work-done instructions created using Manifest Maker are fully compatible with the AR-enabled Manifest platform and can be enhanced with AR and space-anchored content and delivered to deskless workers anytime, anywhere. Using the Manifest platform, desktop-less workers can access Manifest Maker’s step-by-step procedures, digital manuals and guides, animated 3D models and digital twins, detailed holographic images, and other organization-focused knowledge designed to increase maintenance and operational efficiency and improve safety.
