Racket Club确定了发布日期,Resolution Games公司透露将在Quest和PICO上支持混合现实。
After detailing the social mechanics and scoring system in a developer diary, Resolution has revealed more information about Racket Club's single-player game. This includes a practice mode with AI opponents, whose behavior the developers say is trained based on anonymous data collected from real players. Practice sessions are designed to teach you basic and advanced techniques through a variety of objectives, while career mode lets you compete in solo tournaments.
Racket Club also revealed mixed reality support, letting you build venue walls that mix virtual venues with real environments. However, the opponent's side remains fully digital and can be seen through a portal wall. MR is not available in the "Club" area. On Quest andPICO 4Can be used on all.
Finally, Resolution details Racket Club's progression system, where you gain experience points after winning matches. This will unlock new outfit and makeup options, such as "sweatband-wearing hairstyles and stylish sneakers," and more. There are additional rackets available, and the studio confirmed this has a direct impact on gameplay.
"Your skill is probably the most important factor in how well you perform playing any racquet sport - but it's not the only factor," Resolution Games chief creative officer Mathieu Castelli said in a prepared statement. "Equipment also plays a big role. That's why we are offering 20 rackets in the launch, each with its own different focus, such as spin, speed and quality."
