Horizon Worlds Now Supports Members-Only Worlds For Clubs & Communities

Meta Horizon Worlds现在支持仅会员可进入的世界,使平台可以被俱乐部、群体和社区使用。

Members-only worlds are persistent, even afterHorizon WorldsNo one is online. Creators can choose to list them publicly so anyone can apply to become a member, or set them to not be listed so members can only gain membership by invitation.

Each world can have up to 150 members, 25 of whom can be online at the same time.

Members-only worlds are governed much differently than public worlds. World creators can designate other people as administrators and can decide to only make a world accessible when at least one administrator is present. Members can submit violation reports to a dashboard seen by world creators and administrators, not just to Meta.Meta.

The members-only world is only available to users over the age of 18, so children are not included.

It's clear that Meta is continuing to invest heavily in Horizon Worlds, recently bringing it to mobile and web, and building a first-party studio in which to release high-quality games. No matterQuestWhether buyers want Horizon or not, Meta is pushing for it to be part of the helmet's software.
