Baseley confirmed that Intrusion Mode will launch this week, although no specific date was given. You'll visit ten locations occupied by "particularly vicious and persistent entities," tasked with finding the invaders' lairs and clearing out more ghosts using a divide-and-conquer strategy. Total Lockdown Edition owners will also get four new character skins and two new gear skins.
Come January, the Slimer Hunt game mode will be available. Baseley calls this mode "more narrative-focused," with a darker atmosphere and the introduction of original costumes from the first Ghostbusters movie. Finally, March will see the release of an unknown "major update" that may tie in with the upcoming sequel to the film,Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire 》 launched at the same time.
