Now, more than 10 years after the original demo was released, it has just been updated to support theQuest 2Quest Proand mixed reality on Quest 3.
The Mixed Reality mode allows you to draw rectangles on the walls that turn into windows to the marine world of your choice: shoals, swamps, Jurassic, abyss, beluga whales and sharks.
You can choose the style of your virtual windows: frames, ovals, cages and curves, and you can enable a skylight that replaces your real ceiling with a glass view of the virtual sea world.
On Quest 3, the app automatically utilizes the location of walls detected by the Auto Room Setup, whereas on Quest 2 and Quest Pro, you need to manually mark out walls if you haven't already done so.
On all platforms, the perspective view is blue, simulating the mapping of the ocean's water to your room.
