What's needed

Here are the minimum configuration requirements:

• PCs running Steam and SteamVR

• Operating System:Windows 10 or more

• Graphics: NVIDIA (GTX970 or better)

• Head-mounted display: Meta Quest 2, 3 or Pro

The recommended configuration is a PC with a broadband Internet connection with Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6E, at least 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX2070 or better GPU.Additionally, make sure that Steam and SteamVR are installed and running on the PC (you may need to restart Steam to confirm that you are running the latest versions of Steam and SteamVR).

Start Setup

Make sure the PC has Steam and SteamVR installed and is wired to the router. It is possible to use an Ethernet cable to connect the PC to the router. Even though you don't have to, in most cases this will make a significant difference in latency and image quality.

But by using the Steam Link app, you can play your Steam VR games with fewer distractions between you and the game, resulting in better performance, faster response times, and fewer stability and compatibility issues.
