Sony PlayStation Plus subscribers can try several PS VR content experiences for free

(XR Navigation Network January 22, 2024)Sony's PlayStation Store offers a range ofVR games, and if you subscribe to PS Plus, you can actually try multiple content experiences for free.

This service is particularly useful for VR newcomers, as you're probably very curious about which games are best for a first-time experience and which titles you like.

To access the free trial, you have to subscribe to the Premium membership, the highest tier of Sony Playstation Plus. Then in the Playstation Plus menu of the smartphone app or directly at the console, you'll find "Games Trials Game Trial" tab. Here, you can select "Show all" and then set the "PlatformCheck "VR" for the filter setting at the top right of "Platform".

The trial version is unlocked for up to an hour. During that time, you will have full access to the full version of the game. Your saved games can be transferred if you decide to buy the game later. As a PS Plus member, you'll also get a discount on the purchase price.
