Why space de-dusting will lead to everyone ending up with a headset</trp-post-container

Space computing experimentalist Daniel Beauchamp took a year and a half break from posting ubiquitous viral videos under his e-commerce alias Pushmatrix.

Rhythmic beat fingers, sign language tests, and a hand-tracking video of some people never forgiving him for shaving cheese. But, despite all that, Boshampoo is back, and his first video for 2024 was an immediate sensation. As of now, it has reached nearly 20 million views in the 48 hours since it was released.

This time, he gives us a glimpse of space cleaning.

"There's a really interesting thing happening with my space cleaning videos," Boshamp explained to me in a direct private message. "A lot of people are asking 'Why would I buy a device to do this?'"

The mistake Boshamp observes is that "you're not going to buy a device to do this."

"You've got a device you use a lot ...... and all of a sudden you can augment things around you," he added. "I didn't buy a cell phone just to set an alarm. But now I have this thing that I can set alarms on, so why wouldn't I use it."

Surprisingly, Boshamp doesn't think of the software examples he builds as "gamification" - he just wants to use aQuestThe controller is strapped to the vacuum cleaner to keep track of the area of floor he has already swept.

"To me it's just showing the rest of it, not the game haha," he wrote.

You can follow Boshamp's account on XPushmatrix. Unfortunately, he previewed some upcoming videos that gave me goosebumps on my skin, so decide for yourself whether or not to pay attention.
