在Quest上安装CitraVR模拟器玩任天堂3DS游戏的方法

CitraVR现已在Questprovided on the helmet, and the following instructions will help you install it via side loading. Below are instructions on how to mount theMeta Quest 2, 3 orPro上查找、安装和配置CitraVR任天堂3DS模拟器的方法。

What is CitraVR?

CitraVRis an open source project released by Amanda Watson in early 2024, and is an existing open source that began development in 2013CitraThe emulators are offshoots of each other. Each program is designed to emulate the Nintendo 3DS, and CitraVR is specifically described by its creators as "designed to play 3DS homebrew and personal game backups in 3D on your Quest, anywhere, anytime".

At this point, you won't be able to find CitraVR in the main Quest store or even on the App Lab, which means you'll need to sideload it. Here are the four steps needed to run CitraVR on your Quest headset:

If you prefer audio and video instructions, we've embedded a video below that takes about three minutes to introduce these steps. Otherwise, we have detailed instructions below:

Installing CitraVR

Sideloading on the Quest helmet requires you to register as a developer and set up developer mode. It is best to connect your PC or Mac with a USB cable as you will be using it to transfer the required files.

There are a couple different ways to install CitraVR, but SideQuest is the easiest to...Instructions for useAlso listed in the wiki on the CitraVR page.

Step 1: Setting up Developer Mode

The first step in installing CitraVR is that you need to create or sign in to an account on the Oculus developer site. If you have already completed this step, you can skip to step 2.

If you need more help, we've provided detailed instructions on sideloading here, but the key information you need to know here is "accessing thethis pageAnd make sure you are logged into the same Oculus/Facebook account as your Quest registration. Enter a new organization name and check the "I understand" box to agree to the Oculus Terms of Service."

Now you can pick up your phone and log into your Meta app for the next step, which is to activate Developer Mode on the headset being used.

You can do the following by going to the app's device menu. Select your headset, then go to Headset Settings and find the Developer Mode tab where you will see a toggle button to enable it.

Step 2: Sideload Simulator

You'll need a USB cable with a USB-C connector on at least one end to connect your PC or Mac to the Quest head unit.

If you are sure you have completed step 1 and are in Developer Mode, you can now connect the head unit to your PC using the USB cable with SideQuest installed. This step can be confusing for many people, so you can confirm that you have performed step 1 correctly by making sure that when you plug the head unit into your computer, the Quest head unit will display a dialog box that mentions an RSA key to allow debugging access. If this is the first time you have done this, you will see this dialog box.

The Quest headset is now ready to receive sideloaded content.

The easiest way to transfer CitraVR.apk to Quest is to use the installed SideQuest on your PC or Mac via this USB cable.

SideQuest can be found in thehereturn up.

You can remove the headset and return to SideQuest and simply click the button labeled "Sideload" to complete the installation.

Step 3: Create the ROMs folder

Once the installation is complete, simply perform the last step to use the emulator.

So, you still connect the headset to your PC and use SideQuest's File Browser feature to create a new folder for CitraVR in the correct location.

Step 4: Launch the emulator from an unknown source

Now that everything is set up, it's time to put on the headset and launch the emulator. Before you get frustrated and start thinking that something is wrong because you can't seem to find the app, note that CitraVR will not appear in the normal list of games and apps.

In order to find it, we need to select Unknown Source from the drop-down menu.

From there, you should be able to see Citra VR installed and ready to go.

After the first boot, you will need to accept some permissions and then point CitraVR to your newly created ROMs folder.

Now you are ready to start the game.
