Developer shares process of pairing Zeiss optical inserts with Apple Vision Pro

Zeiss isappleand official partner of Apple, and exclusively for Apple VisionProUsers are provided with optical inserts for vision correction. Consumers can purchase and provide a valid optometric prescription from a Native American ophthalmologist as needed.

Zeiss will then ship the customized optical inserts to you. When opening the box, you will find a pair of Zeiss Optical Inserts, the Zeiss Optical Inserts with theApple Vision ProMatching personal codes and instructions for use.

As the user magnetically attaches the optical insert to the Vision Pro, the user must put on the head unit and then press the digital crown. At this point, the system will initiate a special pairing process.

The Vision Pro will require users to check for a unique Zeiss Optical Insert pairing code shown in the package. Of course, this code can be found in the Health app, but it's unclear exactly how. The code is very similar to the App Clip code.

Based on what M1Astra has shared, there doesn't seem to be a way for users to skip the pairing process when attaching the Zeiss optic insert.
