Heartshot is a narrative spy thriller for PC VR platforms, coming soon to Steam Early Access.
Developed by a two-man team at Meadow Studios, the game describes itself as a plot-driven espionage thriller that combines "fast-paced, chaotic gunplay with retro-style movie sets". In the game, players take on the role of an agent tasked with dismantling a global criminal empire, and the investigation leads you to a distant Siberian base controlled by Marko Sokovic. Exploring mysterious underground complexes, Heartshot promises a "wide variety" of weapons and accessories for players to quickly customize their gear. You'll also be equipped with high-tech magnetic gloves as a multi-functional tool for picking up weapons and ammo and manipulating mechanical devices in the environment.
In Heartshot'sSteam FAQAs detailed in the article, Meadow Studios plans to release Heartshot's storyline in three chapters, though the initial Early Access release will only include Chapter 1 and a "jungle-themed Arena Mode". The second chapter is scheduled to be released as a free update "sometime in 2024," while the third chapter will be released at the same time as the official release.
