(XR Navigation Network February 18, 2024) Earlier in the media appeared something like "appleVisionPro遭遇大规模退货”的报道,但现在根据Apple Insider引述24家苹果零售店员工,Vision Pro早期退货率与其它苹果产品相当,没有出现早前渲染的“大规模退货”。
Apple, of course, has not commented and has also not made its official return rate public.
在名为“So far, the early return rate on Apple Vision Pro is pretty low
(So far, early returns on the Apple Vision Pro have been quite low.)" In the story, Apple Insider cites inside sources at 24 Apple retail stores, mostly on the East Coast of the U.S., who say that the Apple Vision Pro doesn't seem to have a higher return rate than other Apple products.
A senior Apple retail employee, who is not authorized to speak on Apple's behalf, said, "We have had a few return requests over the course of a few days, but nothing outside the normal range for new products."
Apple Insider further cites other sources from the retail industry as saying that Apple seems to have originally expected a high rate of returns. However, that doesn't appear to have happened.
Another source at another retailer said, "We have a list of returns to follow. I think I just operated it twice this week."
However, it's important to note that this situation only represents the 24 Apple retail stores cited in the Apple Insider report, and may not really represent the full picture. Apple has not commented and has also not made official return rates public.
For those returning the device, Apple Insider says there are two main categories of people who return the device, aside from those who regret it because they invested a whopping $3,500 in it. The first category is consumers who are biologically incompatible with the headset, such as those who experience amotion sicknessThe "puker".
另一个退货群体似乎是Up主,他们只是为了博眼球和吸引流量,然后完事后就退货,仅将Vision Pro作为免费租赁品。
Apple Insider reports that one retail employee claimed annoyance, saying, "So far, [the returns] have been from some damn Youtubers."
Other retail store employees said, "Oh yeah, those guys, yeah. Every product, every time." One of these contacts even told an Apple Insider reporter, "If I knew you returned it, I'd have you arrested."
