Multimodal

Multimodal, which debuted in August 2023, has now ended its experimental status. This feature provides synchronized tracking of hands and controllers, allowing for new hand and controller combinations to be unlocked and novel gameplay to be generated. The transition from hand to controller is now instantaneous. When you're only using one controller, you can all increase the app'ssocial contactpresence and allows the user to be able to express and manipulate with another free hand.

WMM

With WMM enabled, the system can provide gesture estimation by leveraging body tracking data even when outside the headset's field of view.WMM can optimize the user experience by providing more natural motion tracking to improve gameplay and social presence.

Meta says the possibilities of WMM are endless. If you are needing to perform social gestures with your hands, you can turn on WMM to help users express themselves more naturally and get more accurate representations of actual movements. Any gameplay that requires a lot of hand movement now has more reliable gestures and interactions.

Capsense hands

Capsense hands, also unveiled in August 2023, has now ended its experimental status and provides an easy way to generate hand poses based on controller signals. The new Capsense API makes it easy to generate natural hand poses or hand-held controller poses for increased user immersion.Capsense hands supports Quest Pro, Quest 3 and Quest 2, providesUnity,UnrealandNative.

Simplified Interaction
