New VR games and releases for March 2024: Quest, SteamVR, PSVR 2 and more!

While things are looking a little quieter for March at the moment, there are still plenty of new VR games coming out. Rainbow Reactor: fusion - remastered - March 1 (PSVR 2)

Originally released in 2019, Rainbow Reactor: fusion is a color-matching puzzle game that has been gradually improved over the past few years. After releases on Steam and Quest, it's now being remastered for PSVR 2, featuring an upgraded resolution and 90 FPS performance.

OVRDARK: Don't Open the Story - March 7 (PSVR 2)

OVRDARK: Tales of Do Not Open is a new VR horror game coming soon to PSVR 2 and Steam.As the VR sequel to Do Not Open, you play as investigator George Foster, who, after what happened in the first game, heads to the mansion to face the evil Mike Goren.

Swarm 2-March 7 (Quest)

之前在PICOPreviously released at PICO, Swarm 2 is a class roguelike shooter that is the sequel to the 2021 game Swarm. Armed with hook claws and a pistol, your mission is to save the planet by taking down Swarm, and the game also supports online leaderboards. It is now coming to Quest.

Pirate Queen - March 7 (PC VR, Quest)

Winner of the Immersive Storytelling Award at Tribeca Festival last year, The Pirate Queen: Forgotten Legends is a narrative adventure game developed by Singer Studios with a focus on puzzle solving and exploration. The game stars Yvonne Liu as Sister Cheng Yi, who sails the South China Sea with the Red Flag Fleet, and is coming soon to Quest and Steam.

Akka Arrh - March 8 (PSVR 2)

Released last year on most flat platforms, Akka Arrh is an arcade shooter with tower defense elements inspired by Tempest 2000.Developed by industry veteran Jeff Minter via Llamasoft and published by Atari, your goal is to destroy enemies through a command center that triggers a chain reaction of bombs.

Stilt - March 8 (PC VR, PSVR 2, Quest)

Developed by Rekt Games, Stilt is a colorful adventure game inspired by classic platformers, coming to Quest, Steam and PSVR 2. The game requires "quick reflexes and problem-solving skills" as you collect lost gift packages and stamps, traverse a ravine, avoid traps and fight off enemies. canyons, avoid traps and fight off enemies. The game also supports an online multiplayer mode.

System Critical 2 - March 8 (PSVR 2)

Developed by Old Formulas, System Critical 2 is a "retro-style parkour shooter platformer". "The direct sequel to System Critical: The Race Against Time arrives on PSVR 2 this month, having previously been released on SteamVR and Quest App Lab.

Humans - March 14 (Quest)

An optional VR-supported version of Humans from last year's PS5 is now coming to Quest.The third-person puzzle-action game is the latest from Enhance, publisher of Tetris Effect and Rez Infinite, and is inspired by Lemmings.You'll play as a Shiba Inu, guiding the unconscious masses to an exit.

Small Cities: bigger! -March 12 (PSVR 2)

Developed by Purple Yonder, Small Cities: bigger! has all the updates previously released on Quest-Sandbox, Snow Island DLC, Attractions, and Little People. Publisher nDreams confirms that the port features a higher frame rate, 4K resolution, eye tracking and haptic feedback support.

Monkey VR - March 14 (Quest)

Monkey Doo VR is a free-to-play VR game that lets you bounce through the jungle and compete with others to collect bananas. Previously released via App Lab and Steam, the game will now be available on the official Meta Store, with the PC VR version being updated on the same day.

Render Town Red VR - March 14 (PC VR, PSVR 2, Quest)

Previously released on print platforms, Paint the Town Red VR describes itself as a "chaotic" first-person melee fighting game with pixelated visuals. Set in a variety of time periods and locations, enemies "can be completely punched, slammed, kicked, stabbed, and slashed through pretty much anything that isn't nailed down." The game will be available on Quest, Steam and PSVR 2.

Mowing Simulator VR - March 21 (Quest)

Developed by Skyhook Games, Mowing Simulator first hit print platforms in 2021. The game will now be officially adapted for VR, according to an announcement from Curve Games that calls for managing a garden on Quest.

Max Mustard - March 21 (Quest)

Max Mustard is a VR platformer from Richie's Plank Experience developer Toast Interactive. Similar to Moss, Max Mustard puts you in the role of a character who can look down on the game's environment and help Max traverse the world by manipulating elements. Featuring 40 levels and four bosses, the game is coming to Quest first, while PC VR and PSVR 2 versions are scheduled for release in mid-2024.

MADiSON VR - March 23 (PC VR, PSVR 2)

The MADiSON VR game, which has been released for PC and gaming consoles in 2022, is now coming to VR devices for PSVR 2 and SteamVR. As Luca, you wake up in a dark room with blood on your hands. Faced with a named demonic apparition, players have no weapons and must rely on the instant camera to solve puzzles.

DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate - Dual Edition - March 27 (PC VR)

Following Quest and PSVR 2, Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate brings MyDearest's series trilogy to Steam with support for flat platforms. The game is set in the artificial undersea city of Astrum Close, where you play as Inspector Tsahar Sane, investigating a murder. You can check out our previous reviews of Episodes I, II and III.

Medieval Dynasty: the New Settlement - March 28 (Quest)

Medieval Dynasty: the New Settlement is a survival and resource-gathering VR game that asks you to create an enduring dynasty, which involves building construction, cooking, crafting, hunting, and more in an open-world environment that unfolds over a large area of the game. The game is coming to Quest this month.
