Quest v63 update adds a lay down mode to Quest 2 and Quest Pro instead of Quest 3.
Quest 2 and Quest Pro have a new experimental setting called "Lay down to use apps".
When this setting is enabled, recalibration (holding down the Oculus button on the right controller, or placing your right index finger on your thumb) will also rotate the virtual coordinate space 90 degrees upward when you look up, allowing you to comfortably use seated virtual reality apps and games in bed.
有趣的是,Meta提供的屏幕截图还显示出v62中没有的两个实验选项:“外部麦克风”和“飞行模式”。
The description of the external microphone says that an external USB microphone can be used, and Meta confirmed in January that it was working on making the Quest headset usable on airplanes. We'll be curious to see if these features are actually included in the v63, or are only incorrectly shown in the screenshots.
As always, keep in mind that Quest system software updates are rolled out incrementally, so it may take a few days or even a week or more for your headset to get the Quest v63 update.
