PICO system update 5.9.0, will support PC/Mac desktop interconnection for the first time, gesture function optimization
全新的PICO OS 5.9.0已正式推送给用户。从更新日志中可以看出，PICO OS 5.9.0主要更新包括“串流助手”升级为“PICO互联”（Beta）、手势和视频播放器效果优化，以及面向开发者提供两个最新的SDK。
PICO OS 5.9.0 contains six main upgrades:
"PICO Game Streaming Assistant is officially renamed as "PICO Connect" (Beta). For the first time, it supports PC/Mac desktop interconnection, adjustable window size and position, multiple monitors, joystick and gesture operation. Even low-end computers can use desktop streaming, supporting both wired and wireless connections.
SteamSteamVR game streaming is further optimized. Lower game screen latency, allows for super-scoring of lower-definition images to high-resolution, and allows for personalized adjustments to the game's light and dark images.
The stability, basic performance, and interaction capability of gestures have been optimized. Gesture tracking is more stable, virtual hand model jitter/loss is significantly reduced, and the experience of ray clicking is significantly improved.
PICO player picture is clearer and smoother. The effect of VR video is improved for 4K and above resolution when the Zen Picture Mode is turned on.
PICO Avatar SDK v1.0 has been released, which allows developers to pull personalized images created by users in the Avatar editor to optimize the multiplayer experience of their apps.
新发布PICO SDK v2.5。手势加强，手势支持预览（Live Preview），支持Unity最常用的XR交互框架XRI；并支持Unreal 5.3引擎。
For this OTA upgrade, PICO said that it is the result of continuous improvement of product experience based on user feedback, which especially mentioned: "PICO Interconnect (Beta) has officially launched a new feature with great user value: PC desktop streaming, and also brought a series of PCVR game streaming experience enhancement. PICO has higher expectations for streaming and hopes to expand new cross-connectivity scenarios and bring users a new experience of better multi-device collaboration."
PICO OS 5.9.0 will support both PICO 4 series and PICO Neo3, interested users can update to have a taste. "PICO Connect" (Beta) is available only after upgrading the system to PICO OS 5.9.0 and waiting for the new system to push out the update again, and the specific push schedule is subject to the system.
