The Spring Update for Dungeons of Eternity is now available onQuestonline.
Since its release on Quest last October, Dungeons of Eternity has won our 2023 Best MultiplayerVR gamesAwards, and the next major update in the post-release roadmap has just arrived. Dubbed the "Longsword and Trap Spring" update, it introduces a two-handed longsword that can be slung over your back, over 25 new rooms, a level cap increase from 50 to 60, and support for bHaptics.
Elsewhere, Othergate.confirmThis update introduces a Level 7 "Nightmare" difficulty, meaning that playing "The Last Battle" alone is not available on that setting. There's also a new secret enemy type, teleport/blink mode now supports lateral movement, and localization support now includes seven new languages - French, German, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Spanish (Spain) and Spanish (Latin America).
We gave Dungeons of Eternity our highest rating in our review. Considering it's one of the best multiplayer games on Quest, we praised the combat, high production values, and co-op support.
Dungeons of Eternity isn't a revolutionary experience, but it's certainly an enjoyable fantasy action RPG to play with a group of friends. The combat is excellent and caters to many different gameplay styles, while the progression system feels very fulfilling and worth considering. Dungeons of Eternity is quickly becoming one of the most enjoyable VR co-op experiences I've tried, and I highly recommend it.
