Apple Vision Pro to get system-wide real-time captioning for people and apps

visionOS will get system-wide real-time captioning this year.

These captions will work for real-time conversations fed through the microphone as well as audio from any app, including during FaceTime calls.

In comparison.MetaofQuestThe platform currently offers a real-time captioning option in Quest TV and Quest Store videos, but it's not system-wide.

Apple said.VisionProYou'll also get "support for more Made for iPhone hearing devices and cochlear hearing processors," as well as reduced transparency, smart inversion and flicker reduction light switches for people with visual impairments or light sensitivity.
